Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of clear guidance, advice and processes to enable employees and managers to identify, agree and implement reasonable workplace adjustments in a timely and consistent way.
- Provide practical advice and support to managers and employees to help remove or reduce workplace barriers for employees with disabilities, long‑term health conditions and/or neurodivergence.
- Support the Trusts commitment to reducing barriers and improving equity of access, experience and opportunity for employees with disabilities, long‑term health conditions and/or neurodivergence, contributing to an inclusive culture where employees can thrive, excel and feel a sense of belonging.
Skills
Educated to diploma level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas; HR, EDI, occupational health, occupational therapy, employee support, disability advice or a related field.
Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010, including the duty to make reasonable adjustments.
Understanding of disability, long‑term health conditions, neurodivergence and workplace barriers.
Experience of providing advice and guidance to managers, employees or service users in a professional setting.
