Oral and Maxillofacial Advanced Clinical Practitioner

The successful candidate will

  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate differential diagnoses.
  • Independently manage patients presenting with a range of OMF conditions.
  • Request, interpret and act upon diagnostic investigations.
  • Prescribe safely and effectively (where qualified as an independent prescriber).
  • Perform specialist procedures within competency and scope of practice.
  • Lead and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice and support to medical, nursing and allied health professional colleagues.
  • Participate in education, mentorship and clinical supervision.
  • Contribute to audit, research and quality improvement activities.
  • Support the development of advanced practice within the Trust.

Experience/Skills required

  • Completion of a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice Expertise working with a range of OMF conditions Experience managing a range of surgical conditions as part of the wider surgical team.

Experience managing an independent clinic
