Oral and Maxillofacial Advanced Clinical Practitioner
The successful candidate will
- Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate differential diagnoses.
- Independently manage patients presenting with a range of OMF conditions.
- Request, interpret and act upon diagnostic investigations.
- Prescribe safely and effectively (where qualified as an independent prescriber).
- Perform specialist procedures within competency and scope of practice.
- Lead and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Provide expert advice and support to medical, nursing and allied health professional colleagues.
- Participate in education, mentorship and clinical supervision.
- Contribute to audit, research and quality improvement activities.
- Support the development of advanced practice within the Trust.
Experience/Skills required
- Completion of a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice Expertise working with a range of OMF conditions Experience managing a range of surgical conditions as part of the wider surgical team.
