Duties of the Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester
- Perform servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on all vehicle makes and models
- Conduct MOT tests in line with current regulations
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults efficiently
- Work collaboratively with experienced technicians to ensure high standards of work
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements of Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester
- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification; Level 2 qualified technicians and time-served Mechanics are encouraged to apply
- MOT Tester qualification is preferred but not essential
- Proven experience in diagnostics, fault-finding, and vehicle repairs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
