As a Lead Data Governance Manager, your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Lead on the implementation of a data governance framework of the organisation’s data assets throughout their capture, retention, archiving and deletion lifecycle.
- Develop and champion best practice and guidance in data governance.
- Document and implement data governance frameworks, policies and standards.
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve data quality management across all MCA data assets.
- Report on the integrity of the organisation’s data assets.
- Ensure that all guidance and policy for data governance is aligned with legislative requirements.
- Work with data owners across the organisation to minimise data risks and increase data literacy.
- Support Data Ethics and data governance for AI.
- Represent the MCA at cross-government data forums.
