University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with us. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join the NIHR Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at the Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful applicant will be a key member of the administrative team who will be kept very busy, primarily supporting the quality of information recorded on our in‑house activity management system.

You will work closely with our nursing, clinical and administrative teams to help ensure activity is recorded accurately and on time, as well as providing training and day‑to‑day user support. The role also includes Personal Assistant duties, such as diary management, arranging meetings and supporting general administrative processes.

Previous admin experience in a busy working environment is essential, as is being approachable, confident in communicating with different teams, and willing to build good working relationships within the department. We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, who is flexible in their approach to work and is competent and experienced with a range of IT.

The postholder will need to work independently in a diverse and interesting office environment, using their initiative to prioritise workload, multi‑task, and maintain confidentiality. The post‑holder will join a friendly and supportive clinical research service that values the contribution of all staff.
