Here at The Best Connection we are looking for experienced HGV Cat C+E Drivers to join our client based in Southampton. This is an ongoing role, with potential to go full time with a contract.
Salary - £17.00 / £18.50 per hour
Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday 10 hour minimum
Location - Southampton
Start Time - AM OR PM SHIFTS
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- - Delivering and collecting containers from the dock to local companies or Trunking up to Midlands.
- - Day or Night trunking up to the midlands with General Haulage so Curtain side double decker work
- - No hand-balling involved
- - Vehicle checks, making sure the containers are secured
- - Reporting any issues to the night manager
WHAT IS REQUIRED/BENEFITS:
- - Full UK Class 1 licence
- - CPC & DIGI required
- - Valid DP World Card
- - Must complete driving assessment & induction
- - Container experience is essential
- - Must have been in and out of the docks
- - Good numeracy and literacy skills
- - On-site parking
- - Ongoing work, with overtime on weekends
