We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Facilitator to join our team at West London Forensic Services, St Bernard’s Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the recovery of individuals in Medium and Low Secure mental health settings.
As a Healthcare Facilitator, you will support service users by helping to address their physical, psychological, recreational, social and spiritual needs under the guidance of registered qualified professionals. You will work within a team that values respect, dignity, and person-centred care, making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
The post holder will carry out duties as designated by the nurse in charge and report on the patient’s condition. They will maintain the orderliness, hygiene and safety of the ward environment and will be required to undertake routine clerical duties.
Overview of Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to healthcare under the supervision of a registered member of staff providing a recovery focused approach to care.
- Establish and maintain communication with service users, carers and staff about routine and daily activities.
- Contribute to own personal development and provide information to others to help their development.
- Mentor and maintain own and others’ health, safety and security.
- Make changes to own practice and offer suggestions for improving service.
- Maintain the quality of own work.
- Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights.
