We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual with hands-on SMT production experience to support the efficient operation of our assembly lines.
You’ll play a key role in machine setup, feeder loading, product changeovers, quality checks, and ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
Responsibilities as an SMT Operator
- Operate SMT production equipment including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens.
- Perform machine setups, product changeovers, and feeder loading in line with production schedules.
- Verify component locations, feeder setups, and machine readiness before production runs.
- Monitor machine performance and production output throughout the shift.
- Carry out first-off checks and routine quality inspections.
- Identify and report SMT defects, machine faults, or process issues.
- Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to company quality procedures, health and safety requirements, and work instructions.
- Support continuous improvement activities within the SMT department.
Skills and Experience as a SMT Operator
- Previous SMT Operator experience within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating SMT production equipment and carrying out machine setups/changeovers.
