We’re looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join a factory upgrade project in Smethwick.
This role is ideal for contractors with proven experience in industrial electrical installations who are ready for an immediate start.
This is a great opportunity to work on a key project with the potential for further work after successful completion.
Rates of Pay
• CIS rates
- £23.68 per hour for the first 40 hours
- £31.50 per hour for hours 41+
- £35.52 per hour for hours 52+

Client Overview Our client is undertaking a major factory upgrade project requiring skilled industrial electricians to deliver installation and refurbishment works to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate and gland SWA cables up to 95mm²
- Fit high-bay lighting from high-level busbar trunking systems
- Install small power containment, including ladder rack and cable trays
- Complete busbar installations up to 250A
- Carry out office refurbishment works, including power and lighting installations
- Must-have Requirements
- Previous industrial electrical installation experience
- Valid IPAF licence
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Gold JIB card
- Nice-to-have Skills
- Strong understanding of industrial power distribution systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
- Competitive CIS pay rates
- 12-week contract with potential for further work on future projects
