We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a skilled MET Technician to join our client's well-established Accident Repair Bodyshop Group located in Slough.
This role offers a chance to be part of a reputable national network, working within a modern, state-of-the-art facility.
Our client is seeking an experienced MET Technician eager to develop their career in a professional and supportive environment.
- Up to £24 per hour, resulting in a salary of up to £56,160 plus bonus
- Time-saving bonus at £10 per hour, with an OTE of £65,000
- 45-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings as required
- Paid overtime

Duties of a MET Technician
- Conduct all mechanical and bodywork tasks on allocated vehicles
- Dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify repairs needed
- Reassemble vehicles with new or repaired parts ensuring high quality standards
- Perform inspections and testing to confirm vehicle safety and compliance
- Carry out road tests in a safe, legal manner, assessing vehicle roadworthiness
- Work efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Requirements of a MET Technician
- Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair environment
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or ATA Accreditation are advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of diagnostic procedures and fault-finding techniques
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Own tools and a valid UK driving licence
