Experienced HGV Drivers Required - This is for a permanent position based in Slough. The Best Connection Staines are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for a well-known airside electrical and powered access equipment company based in Slough. This is offering excellent pay, benefits and a structured shift pattern.
Pay Rates:
- Class 2 Driver - £40,000 per annum
- Class 1 Driver - £42,000 per annum
Shift Pattern:
- Monday - Friday
- 0700am starts
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
- Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
- Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
- Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
- Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
What are we looking for:
- Experience driving C or C+E vehicles
- CPC certified and Tachograph card
- FORS compliant
- You must be able to pass a full clean DBS check and provide a 5 year reference history
