Do you have a passion for wildlife conservation and a desire to make a real difference for nature? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Wildlife Conservation team and play a key role in helping wildlife thrive across one of Britain's most celebrated landscapes.
Working with farmers, land managers, volunteers, communities and partners, you'll help deliver practical conservation projects, support habitat restoration and contribute to the Yorkshire Dales Local Nature Recovery Plan.

The Role
You’ll help deliver practical action for nature by:
- Co-ordinating and carrying out habitat and species surveys, monitoring and research
- Supporting the development and delivery of wildlife conservation projects
- Working with volunteers, schools, communities and partner organisations
- Providing ecological advice to support agri-environment and Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) projects
- Responding to ecological consultations and preparing technical advice and reports
- Developing wildlife information, guidance, web content and publications to help raise awareness and understanding of nature recovery
