We are recruiting for a Mechanical Installations Engineer to join a specialist company providing solutions across commercial and industrial environments. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on mechanical engineering experience who enjoys working on‑site, installing, commissioning, and maintaining mechanical process systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of chemical dosing systems
  • Mechanical assembly, pipework installation (PVC, stainless steel, mild steel), and pump fitting
  • Carrying out site surveys, system checks, and planned preventative maintenance
  • Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults and ensuring safe system operation
  • Working both independently and within a small technical team, attending customer sites across the region
  • Completing installation records, service reports and ensuring compliance with company and industry safety standards

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Mechanical installation/maintenance background (water treatment, dosing, pumps or process systems preferred)
  • Strong hands‑on mechanical skills - pipe fitting, pump installation, pipe bending, system assembly etc.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and site plans
  • Understanding of safe working practices, ideally with experience handling chemicals and fluid systems
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • CSCS card or similar site safety qualification
  • Experience within water treatment / chemical dosing / pump & pipework installation
  • Knowledge of fluid handling systems, valves, tanks, and dosing equipment
