We are recruiting a permanent Finance Manager in the Sittingbourne area.

This role encompasses a range of duties working with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and able to manage multiple entity management accounts and budgeting.

The ideal candidate will come from an education background, or the following sectors; NHS (public sector), local government, charities, or housing associations.

Benefits include a salary of up to £50,000 and 2 days hybrid working (following probation).

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing management accounts end to end in full.
  • Produce statutory accounts and to support end of year audits.
  • Creating and monitoring budgets for multiple entities.
  • To set realistic 3-5-year budgets utilising ICFP tools (ASOT).
  • Manage a small finance team.

  • At least AAT level 3 qualified.
  • Previous experience within the sectors listed above, ideally education.
  • Ability to produce month end management accounts and statutory accounts in full.
  • Experience managing end of year audit processes.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.
