Fawkes & Reece are working with a well-established housebuilder to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join a 100-unit traditional-build residential development. You will play a key role in the day-to-day management and successful delivery of the development, ensuring plots are progressed safely, efficiently and in line with the agreed programme, quality standards and company specifications.

Previous experience delivering traditional-build housing is essential for this role. You will need a strong understanding of traditional construction methods and build sequencing, with proven experience managing multiple plots from foundations through to completion and handover. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, labour, materials and plant to ensure the development continues to progress in line with programme.

You will monitor workmanship and construction quality, while maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site. The role will involve overseeing the full traditional housebuilding process, including foundations, brickwork, roofing, first and second fix, external works, finishing and handover. You will work closely with the wider project team to identify and resolve any issues that could impact programme, quality or delivery.

Strong organisational skills are important, as you will also be responsible for ensuring site documentation is completed accurately and kept up to date. This will include health and safety records, inspections, quality assurance checks, subcontractor and material records, as well as regular progress reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

You will need CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid, alongside a proven track record in traditional-build housing that we can reference. A strong understanding of health and safety requirements, excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently manage subcontractors and work as part of a wider team are also essential.

If you are an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in traditional housebuilding and are looking for your next opportunity with an established housebuilder, we would like to hear from you.
