This Site Agent position offers an outstanding opportunity to manage major heavy civil engineering and infrastructure schemes based out of Staffordshire and the West Midlands. You will take full responsibility for daily site operations, driving delivery to time, budget, and safety standards while maximizing commercial efficiency. Lead multidisciplinary site teams to deliver complex civil engineering works safely, cleanly, and without environmental incidents. Manage project construction schedules, 2-week look-ahead programs, RAMS, ITPs, and waste management plans. Monitor cost plans, track site records, and identify value engineering opportunities to optimize commercial performance. Act as the key client ambassador, producing accurate monthly progress reports and chairing site meetings.
About You
You are an experienced Site Manager or Site Agent with a strong operational background in regulated civil engineering. Your technical knowledge of construction methods is paired with strong leadership, commercial acumen, and effective stakeholder management skills. Hold a recognized Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification. Demonstrate proven experience working as a Site Agent for a contractor within heavy civils or water infrastructure. Possess a strong working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, programming, and cost forecasting. Hold active credentials including CSCS Managers Card, SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely, TWC, and Confined Space training.
