The predicted salary is between 14.45 - 14.45 £ per hour.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Overtime: Available weekdays and weekends

We are currently recruiting for experienced Riggers to join a busy site in Middlesbrough (TS6). This is an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates with experience in lifting operations to secure ongoing work with regular overtime available.

Pay Rates

  • £14.45 per hour
  • £17.48 per hour Saturday (7:00am - 12:00pm)
  • £17.48 per hour Saturday Overtime (after 12:00pm) & All Day Sunday: £20.67 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Slinging and rigging loads in accordance with lift plans and site procedures
  • Working closely with crane operators and site supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations
  • Carrying out pre-use checks on lifting equipment and reporting any defects
  • Following all site health and safety regulations
  • Assisting with general site duties when required
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Requirements

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS, or similar Slinger/Rigger certification
  • Previous experience in lifting operations within construction, industrial, or civil engineering environments
  • Good understanding of safe rigging practices and lifting procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work
  • Additional lifting or rigging qualifications
  • Experience working on large infrastructure, industrial, or heavy civils projects
