Our client, a well-established dealership in Sidcup, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This role offers excellent career development prospects and the chance to work with industry-leading vehicles using advanced diagnostic technology.
Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. OTE earnings of £60,000 or more annually. Overtime paid at enhanced rates. Monday to Friday working hours, from 8am to 5pm. Saturday mornings on a rota, 1 in 4, from 8am to 12:30pm. Bespoke manufacturer training provided to enhance your skills. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Conduct routine servicing and diagnose complex faults
- Complete repairs, component replacements, and vehicle inspections
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Advise customers on additional repairs and maintenance needs
- Utilise the latest diagnostic tools and maintain accurate workshop records as a Vehicle Technician
- Perform vehicle road tests and health checks
- Keep up-to-date with technical information and manufacturer updates through ongoing training
Requirements:
- IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience working within a professional automotive service environment
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills, capable of handling complex work
- Knowledge of working in a busy dealership environment is advantageous
- Eligible to work in the UK with a clean driving licence and minimum 1 year’s driving experience
- Passionate about delivering high standards of customer service and workshop quality
