This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team.
Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

We are seeking a commercially focused professional to support the effective management of valuations, contract administration and cost control across multiple projects.
In this role, you will produce accurate contract-compliant valuations and applications, monitor certifications, payments and cash receipts, and manage contractual notices and correspondence.
You will also review valuation quality, resolve disputes and non-compliance issues, and provide guidance to junior colleagues to ensure high standards of commercial delivery.
You'll play a key role in managing cost and financial performance, validating financial data, maintaining accurate accruals and supporting margin improvement.
Working closely with supply chain partners, subcontractors and project teams, you will oversee subcontract administration, support cost planning activities, and contribute to risk and opportunity assessments.
You'll ensure reporting is accurate, timely and aligned with company requirements, helping to drive informed commercial decision-making.
The successful candidate will maintain accurate commercial records, registers and supporting documentation while producing cashflow, cost/value and revenue forecasts.
You will prepare and present regular CVR reports, monitor KPI and SLA performance, and provide insight into project risks, opportunities and trends.

- - Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- - Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
- - Good commercial awareness with an understanding of cost management processes.
- - Strong numerical, analytical and financial management skills.
- - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and commercial management systems.
- - Experience of subcontract administration and supply chain management.
- - Ability to identify, assess and escalate commercial risks and issues.
- - Well-organised with the ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
- - Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across operational, finance and procurement teams.
- - Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience); professional membership or working towards RICS/CICES is desirable.
