We are looking for a Farm / Warehouse Operative with an FLT licence to join a well‑established agricultural and food production site based in the Wem (SY4) area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on, outdoor/yard‑based work alongside warehouse duties, with long‑term opportunities and a stable working pattern.
Pay & Hours
£13.00 per hour. Monday to Friday; however the company is planning to move to 12‑hour shifts (4 on / 4 off) in the near future, so flexibility to adapt is important. 07:00 - 17:30
What You'll Be Doing
- Handling and moving agricultural products and materials
- Loading and unloading deliveries (including farm produce and supplies)
- Yard work and supporting general farm operations
- Picking, packing and preparing stock for dispatch
- Pallet movement and stock control
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Using FLT when required
- Using scanners or systems where needed
What We're Looking For
- Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date preferred, but expired licences accepted - refresher training provided in‑house / newly qualified welcome)
- Previous warehouse, farm or yard experience
- Happy with a mix of indoor and outdoor work
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- PPT experience
- Basic computer / scanner knowledge
- Reliable and proactive attitude
- Own transport essential (due to rural location)
