The Transformation Lead Nurse for Medicine and Emergency Care will provide senior nursing leadership to support the delivery of key transformation programmes across the Division. Working with clinical, operational and corporate teams, the post holder will help design, implement and embed service changes that improve patient care, safety, experience and efficiency. This role is ideal for an experienced senior nurse with strong leadership, communication and change management skills.
The successful candidate will use evidence, data and best practice to support service redesign, engage teams through change and ensure transformation plans are delivered effectively and sustainably.
- Provide senior nursing leadership for transformation across Medicine and Emergency Care, supporting delivery of the Divisional and Trust strategic priorities.
- Lead the development, implementation and embedding of redesigned clinical pathways, service models and ways of working.
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Directors, Centre Managers, Matrons and specialty teams to deliver safe, effective and sustainable service change.
- Manage delivery of the nursing transformation workstream, including project plans, documentation, risks, issues, dependencies and progress reporting.
- Support workforce planning and engagement, ensuring nursing workforce models are aligned to service need, quality standards and future transformation plans.
- Use evidence, benchmarking, best practice and business intelligence to inform service redesign and provide assurance to senior leadership teams.
- Promote high-quality, patient-centred care by ensuring transformation activity improves safety, experience, outcomes, efficiency and staff engagement.

The relocation will follow a formal management of change process, including full consultation and support for staff.
