The Post Graduate Medical Education team are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced healthcare professional with a passion for education, clinical skills training and workforce development. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the development of Foundation/Resident Doctors and other healthcare professionals through high-quality clinical skills and simulation training and providing educational support.
As a Practice Education Facilitator, you will work collaboratively alongside experienced educators, clinical teaching fellows and the wider team to design, deliver and evaluate innovative learning opportunities. You will support Foundation Doctors throughout their training journey, including their induction, clinical skills development and simulation-based education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical skills training to Foundation Doctors and other healthcare staff.
- Act as key faculty for high fidelity simulation, including overseeing simulation sessions and leading debriefs alongside the simulations team, in accordance with ASPiH standards.
- Facilitate learning in classroom, simulation and clinical environments.
- Work alongside clinical teams to identify and address training and development needs.
- Contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of education programmes aligned to the Foundation Curriculum.
- Promote high standards of patient care through education, innovation and evidence-based practice.
- Act as a professional role model and provide guidance and support to clinical staff and learners.
- Assist in maintaining training records, audits and quality assurance activities.
- Assist with the management and development of our clinical skills laboratories and simulation facility across both hospital sites.

The relocation will follow a formal management of change process, including full consultation and support for staff.
