Job Title Plumber – Hospital Project (Shrewsbury)

Summary We’re recruiting experienced Plumbers to join a hospital project in Shrewsbury.

This is an immediate start contract role with a three-month duration and the possibility of longer-term work.

Ideal for qualified plumbers with relevant site experience and valid certifications.

CIS

  • £25.00 per hour – first 37.5 hours (Mon–Fri)
  • £32.50 per hour – midweek overtime & Saturday (first 6 hours)
  • £40.00 per hour – Saturday after 6 hours & Sunday
  • Lodge allowance: £53.40 per day worked (for those living over 55 miles away and physically lodging)
  • Location and Working Pattern
  • Shrewsbury (SY3 8DG)
  • On-site at a hospital project
  • Hours: Mon–Thu 07:30–18:00, Fri 07:30–12:30 (45.5 hours per week)
  • Potential overtime until 19:00 and weekend work starting in summer

Responsibilities

  • Install and fit sanitary ware within the hospital project
  • Carry out drainage work in line with specifications
  • Install HDPE pipework accurately and efficiently
  • Follow health and safety regulations on-site
  • Collaborate with other trades to ensure timely project delivery
  • Must-have Requirements
  • JIB Card or Skillcard
  • IPAF certification
  • Proven experience as a Plumber on large commercial or healthcare projects
  • Ability to interpret site plans and drawings
  • Nice-to-have Skills
  • Familiarity with specialist sanitary systems
  • Competitive CIS hourly rates
  • Overtime and weekend rates available
  • Accessible Park & Ride service supporting easy site access
  • Lodge allowance of £53.40 per day if criteria met
