Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust? Rowan ward, based at Yeatman Hospital, Sherborne is looking for either an experienced or newly qualified Staff Nurse to join our supportive team.

As a Staff Nurse you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, in a 15 bedded ward who provide stroke rehabilitation, Palliative / End of Life care for the local and wider community. Our Stroke Rehabilitation and End of Life Care unit achieved a nationally recognised accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care. Our team are a close-knit community, and we pride ourselves on always going the extra mile.

The Staff Nurse post is a full-time role, we would be flexible and accept part time applications with a minimum of 12 hours. We have a variety of flexible shifts listed below:

  • Nights – 20.00 – 08:00
  • Weekend and public holidays at enhanced pay!

You will need enthusiasm and a commitment to provide the highest standards of care to patients, relatives and carers, and the ability to provide professional clinical leadership. You will need to have an interest in working with older people and have good communication and organisational skills.
