As a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal, you will assist fee earners with the day-to-day management of residential property transactions, helping to ensure matters progress efficiently and clients receive an excellent standard of service throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners with a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters
- Managing and progressing transactions under appropriate supervision
- Dealing with client enquiries and providing regular updates on case progress
- Taking client instructions and accurately recording information
- Preparing correspondence, legal documents, forms, and reports
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, financial advisers, and solicitors
- Facilitating the exchange of contracts and completion processes
- Preparing financial statements and completion documentation
- Completing SDLT submissions and associated conveyancing formalities
- Preparing Certificates of Title for mortgage advance funds
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements

- A minimum of one year's experience in a residential conveyancing or similar legal support role
- A good understanding of residential conveyancing procedures and transactions
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
