We are recruiting for Registered Nurses to join our team at Heeley Bank Care Home. At Heeley Bank, based in Sheffield, S2, we provide care and nursing support to older adults and people living with dementia. We support 67 people, providing both residential and nursing care.
We have two opportunities available:
- One position is to work days on a temporary basis (approximately 6 months) to support with maternity cover. This position may become permanent, should an opportunity arise - we would also be able to consider permanent positions at our sister homes.
- The second position is to work 3 nights per week.
We have two nursing units within our care home and during the day, have two registered nurses on shift alongside our senior and care team. One registered Nurse is on shift during night hours, again working alongside a senior and care team.
Shift times: 07:45-20:00 or 19:45-08:00
£22 per hour
Schedule: Rota basis including weekends and bank holidays
Sponsorship: We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role
Reimbursement of annual NMC PIN payment (subject to no restrictions placed)

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Care planning: Formulating, reviewing and updating person-centred care plans to reflect residents' needs, in consultation with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals, in line with NMC guidelines and company policies.
- Medication administration: Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Monitoring resident wellbeing: Identify and report any ill health amongst residents and arrange GP or professional visits where required.
- Leadership and supervision: When acting as Nurse in Charge, supervise the care team and ensure clear and concise handovers at the end of each shift.
- Multidisciplinary working: Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
