We are recruiting for Registered Nurses to join our team at Heeley Bank Nursing Home.
At Heeley Bank Nursing Home, based in Heeley, Sheffield, we provide care and nursing support to older adults and those living with dementia.
Our home is located in Sheffield (S2) with good transport links and access from surrounding areas.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who are passionate about delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care in a warm and welcoming environment.

The hours available
- 3 days per week, temporary maternity cover (2 nurses on the day shift)
- 3 nights per week
- Schedule: Rota basis including alternate weekends and some bank holidays
- Sponsorship: We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role
- Reimbursement of annual NMC PIN payment (subject to no restrictions placed)
- Paid breaks when working night shifts

Responsibilities
- Care planning: Formulating, reviewing and updating person‑centred care plans to reflect residents' needs, in consultation with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals, in line with NMC guidelines and company policies.
- Medication administration: Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Monitoring resident wellbeing: Identify and report any ill health amongst residents and arrange GP or professional visits where required.
- Leadership and supervision: When acting as Nurse in Charge, supervise the care team and ensure clear and concise handovers at the end of each shift.
- Multidisciplinary working: Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
