The predicted salary is between 30332 - 37072 £ per year.
As a recovery worker you will be working intensively with a small number of people, enabling them to live their lives and achieve their own goals with support from a Multi-Disciplinary team of Mental Health Nurses, Occupational and Art Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers and Doctors.
All team members will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the team and we will offer induction and training in a wide range of areas which will give you the skills to feel confident in your role.
You will be supported to recognise strengths and difficulties and respond to changes in person that may lead to increased risks.
- General Requirements
- To be aware of and abide by service policies re confidentiality and information sharing
- To have a working knowledge of Collaborative Care Planning
- Receive supervision from agreed supervisor on a regular, planned basis, and work within the appraisal process
- Receive team / peer supervision via attendance at weekly multidisciplinary team meeting
- To be committed to professional development regarding practice of work with client group
- To undertake general duties as part of the normal work of the team
- To maintain accurate and up to date records of all contacts and interventions with service users
- To undertake any other duties that maybe allocated by the Team Manager within the general scope of the post and appropriate to the grade.
- It is the responsibility of all Trust employees to ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with best practice risk management.
- To be able to work independently in Service Users homes.
- Principal Duties
- Implement agreed programmes of care with service users and carers under the supervision of a named professional.
- Help to identify changes to an individuals mental health and have a good understanding and awareness of issues around risk.
- To support service users in achieving their goals, by providing practical health and social care agreed by the client and their care co-ordinator
- Be able to undertake basic physical health care observations.
- Develop a rapport with service users within appropriate boundaries.
- To take a role in health promotion both with service users, carers & other staff.
- To take a role in evaluation of care provided
- To encourage service users to be fully involved and engaged with their agreed care plan and to access appropriate services.
- Be able to refer individuals to appropriate ongoing community care services, including health, statutory organisations and voluntary services.
- Engage in supervision and appraisal process with qualified team members
- Service Development
- To maintain existing skills and develop/receive training in new skills as required to carry out the work of the Trust.
- Participate in service requirements for audit/data collection
- Participate in training, team away days and induction plans
