Summary

As a member of the Hallam Talent team, you will play an important role in supporting student employment and employability activity, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally, records are maintained accurately, and processes are delivered efficiently and compliantly. You will also help ensure students receive timely support and payment, maintain the accuracy of employment data, and contribute to the smooth delivery of recruitment and operational processes across the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, customer‑focused support to students, staff and employers.
- Manage enquiries and administrative processes accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain databases, records and systems to a high standard, ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Support student employment administration, including right‑to‑work checks and timesheet processing.
- Ensure compliance with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requirements, maintaining accurate records and supporting processes that enable students to work in line with visa and employment regulations.
- Contribute to the delivery of recruitment, employability and operational activities across the service.
- Build positive working relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across the University.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism, tact and discretion.
- Help identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance the student and employer experience.
