SGS Sport has an exciting opportunity for a Sessional coach to work within our 16-19 Male and Female Football Academy.

The main purpose of this role is to plan, deliver and review sessions within the SGS Sport Academy.

The role includes responsibility for both team and individual development through yearly planning and supporting Individual Player Development through the SGS Sport IDP programme.

  • Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Supporting coaching within the Football Academy provision for 16-19 year olds which may include taking a team from time to time.
  • Supporting holistic athlete development in collaboration with coaches, Strength and Conditioning coaches and Physios.
  • Supporting all athletes to develop through the SGS Sport Individual Development Plan programme.
  • Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
  • UEFA C or Level 2 Coaching Award
  • Knowledge of performance and participation coaching of both male and female athletes
