Our client, one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is currently looking for a Vehicle Technician based at their retail centre in Thetford. As a Vehicle Technician, you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers' vehicles, completing a wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work. You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role; our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Thetford

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Responsibilities:

  • Light and full-service work
  • Fast fit duties such as replacing and repairing brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts
  • Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
  • Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
  • Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
  • Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

To be a Vehicle Technician you will need:

  • Valid UK driving licence – Essential
  • Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
  • Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
  • Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
