We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer / Technical Support Specialist to join our team based in Birmingham. This is primarily an office-based role, with occasional travel to customer sites when required. You must be Gas Safe registered.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with strong technical knowledge of equipment faults and breakdowns with commercial refrigeration and commercial gas appliances. A proactive, hardworking attitude and a strong customer focus are essential, along with a solid understanding of safe working practices.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of equipment breakdowns and fault diagnosis
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Hardworking, reliable, and customer-focused approach

- Gas Safe registered

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of industry standards, products, and company services
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and legislation within the service function
- Provide technical support via phone and email, resolving service-related queries
- Act as the key technical liaison between customers and internal teams
- Attend site visits to diagnose and repair equipment faults where required
- Test and assess returned units and spare parts
- Carry out equipment conversions as needed
- Support general administrative tasks and maintain accurate service records using internal systems (Sparc and Opera)
- Work closely with UK and international teams to address quality and development feedback from the field
- Escalate customer or subcontractor issues appropriately to management
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the service department
