Join our Supply Chain Team at L&Q: This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in shaping how supply chain and procurement partners with the business. As our Senior Supply Chain and Procurement Business Partner, you'll build trusted relationships across the organisation, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial solutions that create value and support strategic goals. You'll lead complex procurement projects, influence decision-making, and help embed best practice across the procurement lifecycle. You’ll support the Supply Chain Director, lead a small team and play a key role in creating the standards and governance that support better outcomes across the organisation. Alongside this, you'll support governance and assurance activities, ensuring the right controls are in place and driving continuous improvement across our supply chain.
What you’ll do:
- Promote a culture of customer focus and operational excellence across the supply chain
- Lead a team of Supply Chain officers, supporting them to be the very best they can be.
- Embed best-practice processes, systems and governance and drive continuous improvement in how the framework is adopted.
- Work in partnership with internal teams to ensure colleagues have access to relevant training, tools and templates to perform activities in line with the supply chain framework and policy
- Develop and drive the Supply Chain plan, including category management and long-term buying planning.
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrable experience of being able to influence and lead cross functional teams
- Confidence engaging stakeholders, delivering training, tools and templates to embed consistent practice across teams.
- Experience in procurement and supply chain policy, compliance and/or contract management, plus audits/policy development and system implementation.
- Strong knowledge of procurement law, regulatory reporting and supplier management.
- Experience in housing or another regulated environment.
- Assurance to the board members
- Desirable - CIPS (or working towards) Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply
- Qualifications - Degree or equivalent experience in buying, supply chain, business, or compliance.
