Do you have previous experience of working as a band 6 or band 7 OT in surgery? Have you worked in intensive care? Have you worked with amputees? This recruitment drive is for a senior OT who can lead in surgery for the continued provision of a high quality, patient centred therapy service adhering to evidence based practice and also work with the physiotherapists in intensive care and with the outpatient amputees.

The Therapy Department benefits from an integrated approach to Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy management whilst providing clear OT specific professional leadership. There is a strong commitment to staff training and development.

To play a major and specialist role in the advanced assessment, treatment, clinical management and discharge planning of patients admitted to the surgical wards including intensive care determining clinical diagnosis, functional deficits, treatment programs and discharge planning.
