We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Practitioner to join one of our Out of School Clubs, supporting children aged 5–12 years within a busy, welcoming and community‑focused setting.
As the Senior Practitioner within the club, you will play a central role in the smooth and effective running of the service. You will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the club, assist your team members, and ensure that children experience a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment every day. You will maintain a clear overview of the provision, helping to shape a positive culture where children feel valued, included and able to thrive.
The successful applicant will have experience working with primary school aged children and will be confident planning, delivering and evaluating high‑quality out of school care. You will promote children’s learning, development and wellbeing by recognising and responding to their individual care, support and learning needs.
As a senior member of the club team, you will also guide and oversee the work of colleagues to ensure consistently high standards of practice. We are seeking someone who can create engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences that support children’s overall growth.
