The Governors of Ysgol Bryn Castell Special School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Administrative Officer to work within the Administrative Team alongside school staff, to support pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties and Autism and associated Additional Learning Needs at the school.
The successful candidate will be committed to supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs and will work alongside colleagues in this busy team to undertake a broad range of administrative, clerical and financial duties, including HR and examinations, and assist with the planning and development of support services.
Applicants should be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with experience of operating & supervising administrative and financial systems, with full knowledge and understanding of relevant codes of practice, policies and awareness of legislation. This position is a full-time position within the school.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post. Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees. An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
