We are currently seeking a Tutor to join our dedicated team at our Southport Centre, Merseyside.

This role would be ideal for someone with a background in youth work who is looking to progress into teaching or specialist education.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging individual who can inspire young adults with SEND, build positive relationships and create meaningful learning experiences that help learners achieve their goals and prepare for future education, employment and independent living.

Job Description

  • Prepare course/training materials
  • Complete external paperwork as required in a timely manner
  • Maintain the quality of the learner programme to a sufficient standard to pass IQA and EQA criteria
  • Complete learner and deliver paperwork as required promptly
  • Deliver engaging sessions including wellbeing awareness
  • To attend business networking events to promote the activities of SWRAC
  • To support learners with LDD/SEND in a variety of classroom settings
  • To work closely with team members to ensure that ILP targets are monitored and reviewed
  • To be aware of individual learners’ risk assessments and needs
  • Encourage independence and self-help skills wherever possible
  • To undertake any other duties that are reasonably requested by management and are appropriate to the role.
