CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users for one of the world's largest independent financial advisory groups in the City of London.

- Position: Corporate Security Officer
- Location: Central London (EC4N)
- Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
- Hours: 42 hours per week
- Shifts: Days & Nights - 4 on 4 off
Job Requirements:
- SIA Licence required.
- Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times.
- Exceptionally clear communication & interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, responsible, self-motivated and punctual.
- A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character.
- To always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation.
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
- First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable.
- Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties.
- Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested.
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users.
- Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet using initiative.
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations.
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift.
- Maintaining the safety and security of people, premises & property by ensuring no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas & dealing effectively with potential/actual security breaches.
- Undertaking highly effective patrols in accordance with management instructions & in awareness of current threat situations.
- Maintain a discrete but effective security presence in all areas at all times.
- To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
- Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.
- The role includes conducting opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, control room cover, reception duties, access & egress control, ensuring all health & safety policies are adhered to, conducting emergency procedures.
- To ensure that all business needs are met, and that the company’s reputation is enhanced through the security services.
- In addition to these functions, colleagues may be required to undertake other duties as may be reasonably required.
