Oasis Academy Parkwood is looking for a committed and organised Receptionist & Admin Officer to join our friendly team and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our academy. This is an important front-of-house position that combines high-quality administrative support with responsibility for helping us improve and maintain excellent attendance across the school. As the first point of contact for students, families and visitors, you will ensure our reception is welcoming, professional and efficient. You will also work closely with our Operations Manager, Attendance Lead and pastoral teams to maintain accurate attendance records, communicate with families, and support children where attendance barriers exist.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing reception, answering calls and supporting day-to-day admin
- Accurately recording attendance, lates and first-day calls
- Working with staff to ensure registers are completed correctly
- Producing attendance reports, letters and legal documentation
- Liaising with families, external agencies and the Local Authority

- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using IT systems including Outlook and Excel
- Ability to work calmly, professionally and confidentially
