The successful candidate will provide clinical, operational and managerial leadership to support safe and effective pathway delivery. You will maintain oversight of referrals, caseloads, waiting lists and performance against key standards, ensuring that young people receive the right support at the right time and that step-up and step-down processes are delivered safely and in a person-centred way.

  • Maintain oversight of referrals, waiting lists, caseloads and performance standards to support timely access to care.
  • Support safe risk assessment, formulation, care planning and therapeutic intervention for children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • Provide clinical, case management, safeguarding and managerial supervision to colleagues where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to promote effective care planning, safeguarding and joined-up support for children, young people and families.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, audit, service development, quality improvement and modernisation across the pathway and wider directorate.
