We are looking to recruit LGV Class 1 Bulk Powder Drivers based in Scunthorpe, DN16 1AW.
This is a Tramping position therefore nights out will be required.
As a professional driver working for Turners Bulk Powder Division, you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
You will develop close working relationships with your planning and training team, alongside other drivers and staff members in a close-knit organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.
The haulage industry is one of varying hours and timings and will require potential candidates to be flexible in their approach to start and finish times.
We are looking for tramping drivers to work Monday to Friday shift pattern with nights out and occasional weekend working, up to 5 nights out a week.
Shift lengths do vary but you will be expected to comply with the Tachograph & Working Time Directive regulations at all times.
Full bulk powder tank training will be provided, as a large and ever-expanding company, Turners can take on new drivers with limited experience.
All we ask is you are willing and keen to learn.
Successful applicants MUST have the following
- Full HGV Class 1 licence (New passes considered)
- 35 hours CPC
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Driving Style Bonus
