We are looking for a Nursery Room leader at our Saltash nursery, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children's play, learning & development.
We are looking for a professional attitude, but with a sense of fun and excitement as this allows our children to thrive within our nursery family environment.

- The hours for this role are 2 days a week, 18 hours total
- Purpose of post
- To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery
- To give support to other team members within the nursery and lead the room with your team
- To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop
- Leading and supporting your team
- Creating programmes and activities for the children
- Keep records of children's development and liaise with parents
- Upholding safeguarding practices with your team
- Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs
- Supporting your team to develop their role with the help of your manager
- Complete transfer documents and ensure they meet EYFS requirements

Qualifications
- Must hold NVQ level 3 in childcare or above
