What You Will Do
- Prepare, cook and present fresh food to a consistently high standard
- Support the delivery of efficient daily food service
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in line with dietary and allergen requirements
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment
- Complete food safety records, cleaning schedules and stock-related administration
- Replenish food and equipment throughout service periods
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Catering Manager to deliver exceptional standards
- Support school events, functions and hospitality services as required
- Follow all health & safety, food safety and safeguarding procedures
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
- Report any issues, incidents or concerns promptly
- Assist with other kitchen duties and reasonable management requests as needed
