Sugarman health and wellbeing are looking for a passionate and motivated Care Coordinator to join our fantastic Homecare team based in Manchester.

As a Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of our homecare services.

From preparing rotas and setting up new packages of care to liaising with social workers, families, and supervising care workers, you will be central to delivering a high‑quality, person‑centred service.

You will work closely with our Field Care Supervisors and Registered Manager to continually maintain an excellent, compliant service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Support service growth and help onboard new packages of care.
  • Produce accurate rotas for care workers.
  • Monitor the effectiveness and quality of service delivery.
  • Handle and record complaints and compliments professionally.
  • Provide ongoing support to service users, their families, and relevant professionals.
  • Mentor, supervise, and support the care team.
  • Ensure documentation, reports, and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Deliver personal and non‑personal care to customers when required.

Experience & Qualifications

This role is ideal for an experienced Care Coordinator, preferably holding

NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.

However, we welcome applicants without direct Care Coordinator experience.

If you do not yet have experience in a coordinator role but have a background in care, strong organisational skills, or the ambition to develop into a coordinator role, we would still love to hear from you.

Full training, mentoring, and ongoing support are provided.
