A leading provider of premium hospitality and live event experiences is seeking an experienced Sales trainer on a consultant basis to deliver a high-impact training programme for Sales Leadership teams across multiple UK locations.
This short-term consultancy assignment focuses on equipping Sales Leaders with the skills, tools and confidence to effectively deliver an existing sales training programme, coach their teams and drive long-term performance improvements.
The successful consultant will deliver a blend of face-to-face and virtual learning sessions while creating a sustainable coaching framework that continues to add value beyond the contract period.
The Role
As the sales trainer, you will partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to strengthen coaching capability across the sales function.
Your primary objective will be to enable sales managers and leaders to become confident trainers and coaches themselves, creating consistency in training delivery and sales performance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Equip managers with practical coaching techniques that can be embedded within their teams.
- Develop leaders' confidence in facilitating workshops, delivering feedback and running coaching sessions.
- Create a repeatable framework that supports long-term capability development.
- Teach leaders how to plan, facilitate and deliver engaging training sessions that maximise participation and knowledge retention.
- Coach managers on facilitation techniques, questioning skills, managing group dynamics and adapting to different learning styles.
- Demonstrate how to observe trainees, identify development areas and provide constructive feedback.
- Support leaders in reinforcing learning through coaching, follow-up sessions and ongoing development activities.
About You
You will be an experienced training and sales development professional with a strong track record of delivering sales programmes within high-performing sales environments.
