The predicted salary is between 33143 - 36363 £ per year.
37 hours per week, including 6 months seasonal shift pattern April-September. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the staff at Salcombe Harbour Authority as a Moorings Officer. In this role, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the harbour and be the Harbour Master's representative on the water, managing daily afloat operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Meeting visiting vessels and allocating suitable moorings
- Maintenance of all harbour infrastructure including moorings, pontoons and aids to navigation
Most importantly, you will be directly contributing to the excellent reputation of Salcombe Harbour as a friendly and safe port.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced small boat handler (RYA powerboat level 2 or greater) with excellent customer service skills, computer literate, numerate and have experience with Point of Sale operations. The ability to be flexible enough to work outdoors, unsociable hours and weekends are essential.
