The predicted salary is between 14.99 - 14.99 £ per hour.

Shifts: 4-on, 4-off rotating shift pattern, alternating between day and night shifts. Shift hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for day shifts and 7:00 pm to 7:00 am for night shifts.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Technical Operator to join our team. The role involves supporting daily production activities while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily production tasks safely and efficiently
  • Maintain quality, food safety, and health & safety standards
  • Perform basic machine checks and routine maintenance
  • Complete quality checks and paperwork accurately
  • Support stock and material control within your work area
  • Help with product changeovers and operate FLT equipment when required
  • Use systems such as SAP to manage stock and production information
  • Support and train team members where needed
  • Identify and suggest improvements to processes and equipment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a production environment
  • Able to work independently and make decisions when needed
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible to work across different production areas
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Able to maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards

Education / Qualifications

  • Basic level of education
  • Ability to work towards NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Technical qualifications are beneficial but not essential
