Your New Company

Hays Education is working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Rugby that supports children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, communication and interaction needs, and complex learning difficulties.

Your New Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and well-established team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, personalised learning that helps pupils achieve both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons
  • Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Creating a positive, nurturing and structured learning environment
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and parents
  • Monitoring progress and adapting learning to meet individual needs
  • Promoting communication, independence and life skills

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A patient, flexible and resilient approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs
