I am a woman living with a physical disability that significantly affects my mobility, and I require support to help me continue living independently at home. I am a mother of two and share my home with a friendly Labrador.

The role involves a variety of support tasks, including household duties to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment. Approximately three hours per week will be dedicated to cleaning duties.

Support may also include medication reminders and assistance with preparing prescribed medications where required, as well as helping to prepare meals and drinks.

On days when my health limits my ability to participate in activities, the role may involve providing companionship, monitoring my wellbeing, and helping to reduce the risk of falls. As my needs can vary from day to day, flexibility is essential. The successful applicant may be asked to undertake any reasonable duties required to support my independence and wellbeing.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, along with Class 1 business insurance. A current DBS check is essential.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference while supporting someone to remain independent in their own home.

Proud member of the Disability Confident employer scheme.
