About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver to join our busy recycling team based in Rowley Regis.
You will be responsible for collecting commercial and industrial waste from customer sites, ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of customer service.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a long-term role within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
- Collect commercial and industrial waste and recyclable materials from customer premises.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Follow planned collection routes and schedules.
- Ensure all collections are completed safely and efficiently.
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Load and unload waste containers where required.
- Comply with all Road Traffic Regulations and company policies.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company.
- Report any incidents, accidents, vehicle defects, or health and safety concerns immediately.
- Work closely with the transport and operations teams to ensure the smooth running of daily collections.
